Who We Are
Welcome to Upper Keys Business and Professional Women (BPW). We are a nonprofit, nonpartisan, member-led organization open to all who support our mission.
As a local affiliate of BPW Florida, we come together for the benefit of our members and our community as a whole. For more than 50 years, Upper Keys BPW has made a tangible difference in the lives of working women and their families in the Upper Florida Keys.
Join Us at These Upcoming Events
| .png) On March 20, 2024, Upper Keys BPW announced the "Give Hope a Home" campaign to raise $10,000 to create a business center at the soon-to-be-built emergency shelter for Middle and Upper Keys residents experiencing domestic abuse. The business center will provide workspace, computers, internet access, printers, paper and other essential resources to help domestic abuse survivors search for jobs, find housing and more. |

Each October, we celebrate National Business Women’s Week by naming a Business of the Year and Woman of the Year: member-run businesses and individual members that have inspired us and made particularly positive impacts on our organization and the broader community over the past 12 months.

Our MissionThe BPW mission is to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information. We seek to empower the women in our community to reach their full potential. We accomplish this by creating opportunities for personal and professional growth, providing scholarships to adult women in support of their education and career advancement, and advocating for issues that matter to working women and their families.The National Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs was founded in July 1919 and has a long history of notable achievements on behalf of women. Every working woman has benefited from the organization's efforts in education, scholarship, public policy, equal pay and lobbying for women's rights.E-blast AdvertisingGot a job opening you're trying to fill? Voting Rights & Access The BPW/FL Public Policy Platform is reviewed each year by the state Public Policy Committee and any proposed changes are presented for adoption at the annual state conference.
